Aerva’s software platform offers a suite of easy-to-use capabilities for creating, managing, and delivering compelling content and experiences across digital media channels. Their software helps universities, enterprises and brands engage audiences by enabling real-time interactivity between mobile, social media applications and digital display networks (outdoor, place-based or enterprise). Recent clients include Anheuser-Busch, Taco Bell, US Navy, Beats-by-Dre — and Northeastern University. Born out of MIT and raised in Cambridge’s Central Square, the platform is cloud-based; colleges and universities are not required to invest in considerable hardware infrastructure and expensive software to scale and manage their digital display network. The content is managed through a web browser, providing distributed control for multiple department administrators. In the event of a campus-wide emergency or security threat, Aerva also provides a centralized security override capability to send updates directly to all digital signs across campus. Aerva’s suite of interactive widgets allow for seamless integration of college news and announcements, videos, real-time data, social media channels, and sharable student-generated content. These widgets allow students to interact with the display network directly from their mobile devices. Visit www.aerva.com.
